Three Muslim students slain, vigil to be held in D.C.

Three Muslim students were killed in a heated dispute over parking spaces in the college town of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Civil rights groups the Council on American Islamic Relations and the D.C. Ferguson movement, are holding a vigil for the victims in D.C. Police are still trying to figure out whether religious hatred played any role in the grisly shootings. Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder. He shot all three victims in the head late Tuesday afternoon at a condominium complex in Chapel Hill. The victims, were identified as: Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, and his wife, Yusor Mohammad, 21, of Chapel Hill, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, of Raleigh. The father of two of the victims is convinced that it was a hate crime. The candlelight vigil will be from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Thursday in DuPont Circle in northwest Washington
