A Boeing 767 flight from Newark, New Jersey was forced to make an emergency landing in Warsaw, Poland, after experiencing problems with its landing gear. The plane, which carried 231 people, was due to land at 1:35 local time. When the landing gear did not properly deploy, it circled for about an hour while attempting to fix the problem, but was forced to land as fuel depleted. The plane executed a belly landing on the runway.

All passengers were safe and uninjured, and reportedly remained calm during the emergency landing. For other travelers at Poland’s Frederic Chopin International airport, travel delays are expected as the damaged aircraft is still blocking runways.
