A new fund has been launched to assist the families and victims of the Washington Navy Yard shooting.
The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, which is the same foundation that offered $25 million in financial assistance to the victims of the September 2001 Pentagon attack, is sponsoring the fund.
Every bit of the funds will go towards providing support for the Navy Yard shooting victims and their families through finances, casework aide and so forth.
