A 1975 graduate of Georgetown University is scheduled to announce his $100 million donation to the school Wednesday.
Frank McCourt, former owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers is now responsible for the heftiest donation in the university’s history, beating out a 2010 donation of $87 million.
McCourt’s generosity will fund a new school of public policy to be named the McCourt School of Public Policy that will take off in October.
