Police serving a search warrant found drugs and a missing 16-year-old girl in the home of a District of Columbia police officer.
This case comes after another recent ordeal in which a D.C. officer was found to have produced nude photos of another missing minor.
Both officers are still under investigation and are from the seventh district.
Tommy Wells, member of the D.C. Council and chairman of the Judiciary and Public Safety Committee said Thursday that both matters are being taken extremely seriously.
Wells says, “It really infuriates me…These are the people that we hire to protect our children and to protect our city.”
