The mayoral candidates for Washington are certainly staying on top of their funds.
D.C. Councilmember Jack Evans is now at the top of the list when it comes to raising funds. According to the latest campaign report he has raised around $392,000 from August 11 to October 10, leaving him with a cumulative campaign total of $768,000 and $497,000 in cold hard cash.
While Councilmember Muriel Bowser has raised less than 60 percent of Evans earnings in the last three months, she has $597,000 left in cash. She accredits this to using “every hard-earned dollar wisely.”
Councilmember Tommy Wells has raised $103,000 with $137,000 in cash on hand.
Mayor Vincent Gray has yet to announce if he will try for re-election.
