A recent photo shoot at the Taj Mahal could land Miss Universe in a heap of trouble.
Twenty-one-year-old Olivia Culpo of the USA had a case filed against her and her group by the Indian police for shooting a commercial for shoes on the property of the legendary monument.
Culpo is accused of violating India’s Heritage Act by conducting her photo-shoot without the permission of the Archaeological Survey of India. Police inspector Sushant Guar says police responded to the complaint filed by the ASI on Thursday.
If the young pageant queen is found guilty, she and the others could face up to two years in prison along with a fine of 100,000 rupees ($1,600).
