Andi Pringle, Vincent Gray’s Deputy Chief of Staff, resigned Wednesday after scrutiny regarding improper voting practices and the legality of her consulting firm. Pringle’s firm, Pringle Communications Inc., was operating in the District without a business license. Additionally, Pringle’s resignation comes after reports that she voted in the District while living in Maryland.
Pringle admits to the allegations. Gray says he was unaware of both problems when he hired Pringle.
