Game show ‘Jeopardy!’ heads to District for a week of shows

The District’s most influential people will be put to the test when “Jeopardy!” arrives to the city. On Thursday, the game show announced that it will enlist 15 influential contestants for “Power Players Week.” The contestants will play for charity, and each day the winner will get a $50,000 jackpot. According to the show’s producers, the participants will include authors, journalists, newsmakers, and political figures.

The contestants will be announced a few days prior to the taping. The events are scheduled to take place on Apr. 21 at DAR Constitution Hall in front of a live audience. The programs will air on May14-18.
