A District of Columbia police officer has pleaded guilty on charges of videotaping his stepdaughter naked.
Keith Tabron, who was named Detective of the Year in the District last year, is charged with 50 counts of secretly video recording his stepdaughter in her bedroom and while she showered for nine months.
Tabron, who joined the police force in 1990, pleaded guilty in July to several counts of “video surveillance with prurient intent.”
His plea has just recently been confirmed and he has been suspended without pay.
This case comes at a time where several sexually-based infractions have been committed by D.C. police officers, including pandering of minors and possession of child pornography.
Upon his plea agreement Tabron received a five-year suspended sentence and five years of probation.
