Virginia man convicted in stuffed animal theft

A Virginia man was convicted of stealing stuffed animals and is scheduled for sentencing in February.

Nineteen-year-old Austin Sebastian Parks pleaded guilty to charges of burglary and grand larceny after officials reported that he stole stuffed animals from a booth at the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Co. Carnival Grounds after a failed attempt to steal an ATM machine.

He is scheduled for sentencing in Accomack County Circuit Court on February 3, 2014.
