Miriam’s Kitchen in Northwest D.C. served breakfast meals to the homeless on Christmas morning.
Breakfast was served at the kitchen on 2401 Virginia Avenue from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.
Twenty volunteers gathered Wednesday to prepare the hot meals. Pumpkin pies were also prepared with pumpkins donated by the White House Gardens.
