Police in Washington have made an arrest for the fatal shooting that took place in northeast Washington earlier this month.
Police arrested 24-year-old Allen Culver on Friday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Culver has been charged with second-degree murder while armed in the shooting death of 31-year-old Robert Plight on June 1st.
Police arrived near the 4400 block of Benning Road at 8 p.m. the night after the shooting. Plight was taken to the hospital, but was later pronounced dead.
