An arrest has been made for a brutal murder that took place in a downtown D.C hotel. 21-year-old Jamyra Gallmon, of Southeast, was charged on Wednesday with first-degree felony murder in the death of 30-year-old lawyer David Messerschmitt. Messerschmitt was found dead with gruesome stab wounds to his back in the Donovan Hotel on February 10. He was last seen two days prior. No further details have been released on the murder.
