Due to financial issues MedStar Washington Hospital is laying off a significant amount of employees.
MedStar made a statement Wednesday that five percent of its employee roster has been laid off, totaling 300 people.
According to Donna Arbogast, vice president of public affairs and marketing, 60 of the 300 were management positions.
