A surreptitiously recorded video of Patrick Moran released Wednesday has led to his resignation as a field director for his father’s, Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va, campaign. Project Veritas, a conservative group led by James O’Keefe is responsible for the emergence of the video that shows Pat Moran and an undercover reporter discussing a plan to cast fraudulent ballots.
The reporter apparently suggests the voter-fraud plan to a dubious Moran who eventually says he will look into it. Jim Moran’s campaign has called the incident a lapse in judgement.
