An Arlington man who locked his two children in a car so that he could gamble has been arrested.
Forty-six-year-old James Bentley has been charged with two counts of child endangerment after leaving his 10-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter locked in his car while he gambled inside Crystal City Sports Pub.
The car was turned off and the children were left there for half an hour.
Child protective services was called and the mother arrived at the scene to pick up the children.
