The man responsible for a slew of “butt slashings” that occurred in shopping malls around Northern Virginia, has been identified and charged in the attacks. Johnny D. Guillen Pimentel was extradited from Peru, where he is from, after being identified by a police task force in Fairfax County.

On Wednesday a judge ordered Pimentel to be held without bond as he awaits trials for the series of nine attacks last year. He is charged with six counts of malicious wounding, two counts of attempted malicious wounding, and one count of forging a public document.
