Ryan Braun admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs in a statement on Thursday. He said he used a cream and lozenge which contained banned substances in 2011. He said, “I have no one to blame but myself. I know that over the last year and a half I made some serious mistakes, both in the information I failed to share during my arbitration hearing and the comments I made to the press afterwards.” He admitted, “I have disappointed the people closest to me.”
The Brewers player recently was suspended from Major League Baseball for 65 games. He had recently claimed he was innocent until suddenly stopping his claims.
