Washington Redskins backup quarterback Kirk Cousins was injured during a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday. According to the preliminary diagnosis, he sprained his right foot during the second quarter of the game. Cousins said, “When I first did it, it didn’t feel like it was anything serious. It feels almost like a sprained ankle, just in the middle of my foot.” An MRI is scheduled on Tuesday to further determine the extent of his injury.

Quarterback Robert Griffin III is currently recovering from major knee surgery. As Cousins left the field, Griffin said to reporters, “He’s OK, people.”
