Obama votes early in an effort to encourage voters

0

President Barack Obama made a stop along the campaign trail at his hometown of Chicago to cast his own vote. This makes him the first US president ever to cast an early vote. His campaign is trying to galvanize voters to cast their ballots early in a thus far neck-and-neck presidential election season. The campaign actually won a court ruling that will keep Ohio’s early voting open through the weekend before Election Day. It is estimated 7.2 million people have already voted and 35% of registered voters will have already voted when the official Election Day arrives.
