Mitt Romney wins the Iowa Caucus by 8 votes.

Romney, who was in a neck and neck race down to the wire with former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum,  came out on top late Tuesday night.  The primary votes were tallied and are as follows:

Mitt Romney – 25%         30,015

Rick Santorum – 25%       30,007

Ron Paul – 21%       26,219

Newt  Gingrich  – 13%        16,251

Rick  Perry  – 10%         12,604

Michele  Bachmann – 5%       6,073

Jon  Huntsman   –  1%         745
Sources are also reporting that former Republican presidential candidate John McCain will soon endorse Mitt Romney.
