More than 5,000 artifacts recovered from the Titanic will be auctioned off in April, in time for the 100th anniversary of the ship’s sinking. The items will be auctioned as a single lot, rather than on an individual basis, according to Premier Exhibitions, an Atlanta-based company that exhibits artifacts around the world.

In 2007, the collection was valued at $189 million. Items have been added since that time. The items in the collection were recovered from several expeditions to the wreck site in 1987, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2004 and 2010. Premier Exhibitions is collecting bids until April 1, and plans to announce the results of the auction by April 15, the anniversary of the sinking.
