Police report that they are investigating the death of a female body in a pool in the backyard of a Laurel, Maryland, home Wednesday. The body was discovered sometime around 2:30 p.m. in the 7900 block of Brooklyn Bridge Road, near Laurel High School. Police have not yet released the name or age of the person. There is no word yet on whether the death was suspicious, and the police are calling this a death investigation.
