Teenage girl missing from Germantown

Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing girl from Germantown, Maryland.

According to the Montgomery County Police Department, 17-year-old Abigail Leann Strickland was last sighted on Monday, December 30 around noon in the 18500 block of Kingshill Road.

She weighs about 145 pounds and is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall with blue eyes and dark blonde hair.  Strickland wears black-rimmed prescription glasses and was last spotted wearing red jeans, black knee-high boots and a University of Maryland hooded sweatshirt.

Strickland’s family is especially concerned because the teen needs prescribed medication for a personality disorder.
