Montgomery County has been pegged the location for the 7th annual SWAT team competition.
The event will be hosted by the National Capital Region SWAT Association Friday and will include SWAT teams from around the region participating in a “tactical competition”.
It will be held on the police department’s firearms range and the proceeds from the event will go to Jason Schneider’s memorial fund.
Schneider was a Baltimore County SWAT member who was killed in August while issuing a search warrant.
