A body was recovered on Tuesday near the spot where 55-year-old William Jones, Jr. disappeared on a canoeing trip on November 3. Jones went missing when he and another man went under after the canoe began to take on water; however, while the other man was able to be rescued by a fisherman, Jones never emerged. The fire department has not yet confirmed the identity of the body, however.
