A strange incident involving the theft of an empty school bus has Anne Arundel County police searching for two people, a man and an unknown accomplice. The bus was stolen from a Crownsville lot early Tuesday, and found nearly four hours later in a field near Davidsonville as spotted by a police helicopter. Police believe the thieves used the bus to smash down the gates on their way out of the lot. The bus is equipped for special needs students, and was definitely empty at the time of the theft.
