According to Baltimore police, a man fatally shot his wife and left another woman bound in his bedroom.
Police were called to the home on Saturday and found the body of 37-year-old Karolina Derezinska-Szkiluk. The bound woman told police that the husband, Lukasz Szkiluk, told her that he wanted to take care of a few things before visiting Poland; he then pulled out a gun and tied her to the bed.
After Szkiluk shot his wife, he showed the body to the bound woman. Once Szkiluk left, the woman chewed through the ropes and freed herself.
Szkiluk is charged with first and second-degree murder as well assault and weapon charges.
