The historically black sorority was formed by nine women on the Howard University campus in 1908. Now there are thousands of members who will be participating in various community service projects in area schools and food banks this weekend. There will also be a informative seminar on human trafficking. Baltimore city major, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, is a Alpha Kappa Kappa and plans on joining some of the activities.
