Obama has declared a disaster zone for parts of Maryland hit by Hurricane Sandy. The declaration will allow federal funding to help with repairs and emergency relief. Areas included are Allegany, Calvert, Caroline, Charles, Dorchester, Frederick, Garrett, Harford, Howard, Kent, Queen Anne’s, Somerset, St. Mary’s, Talbot, Washington, Wicomico and Worcester counties, as well as Baltimore City.
