A man was found murdered in Ridgely, MD, and police say that his daughter is the prime suspect. It was Arthur Cohee’s 90th birthday when his body was discovered on a kitchen chair with visible wounds made to his head and neck. Janice Cohee, his daughter, had placed the 911 call to the police who arrived at Mr. Cohee’s residence to find the gruesome scene awaiting them.
According to police, Janice Cohee told them that two home invaders had killed her father. However, her statements were conflicting, which led the police to charge her with first degree murder and take her into custody. The daughter is being detained at the Caroline County Jail without bond. An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the official cause of her father’s death.
