A school bus driver who used her vehicle to deliberately crash into a school office has been charged with using her bus as a weapon. Theresa Douglas, a Prince George’s County Public Schools bus driver, had an ongoing disagreement with a co-worker. According to police, Douglas had tried to get a protective order against the co-worker, but it was dismissed. Early Wednesday morning, Douglas drove her bus into the side of a trailer that doubled for an office.

Police say they have yet to determine what drove Douglas to such drastic behavior. There were no children on board the bus. The crash damaged the side of the office trailer and three people inside suffered minor injuries. Douglas has since been arrested and charged with three counts of first- and second-degree assault.
