American actor and singer Tony Martin died Friday in Los Angeles. He was 98. The “To Each His Own” singer had an eight decades-long career, singing during the times of Perry Como and Bing Crosby. The smooth-voiced baritone appeared in musicals like “Ziegfeld Girl” with famed actresses Judy Garland and Lana Turner.
Martin married actress Cyd Charisse in 1948. The two had one child, Tony Martin Jr. He died in 2006 at the age of 60, while his mother, Charisse, passed away in 2008 at 86. Martin is survived by his stepson, Nico Charisse, as well as his two grandchildren.
