Lexus’ new image aimed for younger drivers

Toyota is hoping to make their Lexus brand more appealing to younger drivers by opening a showroom that doubles as a café. The new lounges will look less like an average showroom and more like the driver is visiting a stylish home. Only one car can be displayed in the new showrooms and customers will also be served coffee.

Executive Vice President of Lexus International, Mark Templin said Friday, “This is about showing people the personality of the Lexus brand, and showing a more emotional part of Lexus.” The first showroom will open in Tokyo. Other spaces are scheduled to open in New York and Dubai.
