The House voted on Friday to expel Rep. George Santos, R-NY, in a 311-114 vote. The expulsion comes after his first year in Congress was plagued by scandals.
Santos is the sixth representative in history to be expelled. A special election to replace Santos’ seat in Congress is expected to happen in February.
