On Monday night around 10:30 p.m. police received a call about a man in the road with his pants around his ankles. The man would not comply with the police, instead walking down the middle of Lee Highway while shouting that there was a bomb in his backpack. The man eventually dropped his backpack and was arrested. After a bomb squad evaluation, the bag was found to be clean. The man is charged with resisting arrest, assaulting police, and making bomb threats.
