Recount likely in Virginia attorney general election

0

It’s a close call in the race for Virginia’s new attorney general.

Two state senators, Democrat Mark Herring and Republican Mark Obenshain, are vying for the elite position, but the majority of precincts are reporting unofficial returns.

With the margin being so narrow there is no confirmed victory for either candidate, and state-funded recount will most likely take place.
