The Brazilian police are seeking to question pop-star Justin Bieber after a Brazilian news outlet posted pictures Wednesday of him spraying graffiti on a wall.
According to the O Globo newspaper Bieber was photographed Tuesday morning while defacing a wall of the former Hotel Nacional in Rio de Janeiro.
Vandalism is illegal in Brazil and carries a sentence of up to one year in jail.
Bieber was not present when the police arrived at his rented Rio mansion to question him.
Colombian authorities were displeased last week when the singer pulled a similar stunt by spraying graffiti on a city wall in Bogota.
