Woodbridge woman raped at public pool in the District

A District of Columbia public pool was closed Tuesday after a woman said she was raped there during an after-hours party.

According to the woman’s family, the incident occurred Monday night in the locker room at the pool.  The woman was said to have been partying with family members and two men her friend met on Facebook.

After the alleged assault took place, she was robbed and dropped off at her home in Woodbridge partially clothed.

She endured injuries to her hand and neck.  Officials are continuing their investigation.
