D.C. rapper Wale (real name Olubowale Victor Akintimehinis) is holding a free surprise concert on Saturday. The show will be held at the AutoZone parking lot in the 1200 block of H Street NE. Further details will be posted on social media at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, an hour ahead of the 2:00 p.m. show. Wale made the announcement about the top-secret show Friday on Twitter. The concert is timed with the launch of Wale’s new studio album, “The Album About Nothing,” a unique collaboration with comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who previously worked with him in 2008 on “The Mixtape About Nothing.” Admission is free, but RSVP arrangements have to be made first through organizers Events D.C.
