Man gunned down in D.C. apartment

A man was found shot to death in a D.C. apartment early Monday morning. Police are still searching for more information on the puzzling incident. A call came in at about 12:15 a.m., in regards to a shooting at an apartment building in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road in Northeast D.C. By the time the police arrived on the scene, the man had already passed away as a result of several shots to the chest. No one else was found inside the apartment. At this time, suspect descriptions are vague. The victim’s name has not yet been released. No further details are known at this point.
