Holiday displays wow at the US Botanical Garden

The United States Botanical Garden is home to a fantastic and unique Christmas exhibit that is free to the public and on display until Jan. 1. The East Wing features a fantastic landscape of train displays made mostly of pine cone scales, willow, screw pods, grapevine tendrils, acorns and acorn caps. There is also a replica of the National Mall that is constructed with organic materials as well. In the West Wing is one of the biggest indoor Christmas trees, beautifully decorated and hung with lights. The train exhibit, Christmas tree, and holiday displays of poinsettias and holly are a must see this holiday season.
