Tuesday’s Census report claims that Washington DC has the nation’s second worse traffic. This report came in after the Texas Transportation Institute rated DC as having the nation’s worse traffic overall. In 2011, it took an average of 34.5 minutes to commute to work in DC and workers claim to have an hour-long one-way commute to work every day. The Census also highlights a relationship between the average time of a commute and DC’s public transportation systems.
