According to officials, a Suffolk home was struck by lightning, and subsequently caught on fire. The fire occurred Sunday evening, according to reports from local news outlets, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters who responded to the scene found smoke coming from a window in the kitchen area of the home, officials report. After investigation, it was determined that a lightning strike blew out three electrical sockets, which caused fire to travel under the home and into a wall. Light smoke was also found in the attic.
