A 2nd-grader from Henrico County is grabbing headlines across Virginia today for bringing a loaded handgun with him to school. The boy brandished the gun while on the school bus and apparently spoke threateningly. School officials recovered the weapon and contacted police, although no charges have yet been filed.
The gun reportedly belonged to one of the boy’s family members. No one was injured in the incident.
