Unions threatened by limitations proposed in VA bill

0

Lawmakers in Virginia are seeking to pass a bill that would forbid the use of forced unions in the state. It is possible that the bill would cut cost on public projects, such as the Dulles Rail Project in Tyson’s Corner. It is also reported that if the bill is passed, it could help a larger segment of those who are unemployed. Delegate Barbara Comstock, a Republican of Fairfax believes if unions are allowed from the start of the contract, the Dulles Rail Project could increase by “hundreds of millions of dollars.” Comstock says that there is enough support in the House to pass the legislation.
