A 75-year-old man was strangled to death earlier this month, and three family members have recently been arrested in connection with the incident. Kwang Hur was found dead on Sept. 1 in his River Run seniors complex apartment. The three suspects—brother-in-law Jung Min Jun, sister-in-law Jung Ok Jun and nephew Ho Young Jun—were arrested in New York and charged as an accessory to murder.
According to police, Hur’s relatives would have benefitted $1 million from a life insurance policy in his name.
