A Fairfax County teenager who was reported missing on October 2nd has been confirmed dead after his body was identified on Monday, October 8th. Bryan Glenn was a 17-year-old senior at Woodson High School who went missing after dropping a younger brother off at the school a week ago. Family members say that Bryan, who was on the football team, had been studying for the SATs and was preparing to apply to colleges for next fall.
The incident took the community by surprise and many people turned out to help search the City of Fairfax park where Bryan’s body was eventually discovered about a quarter mile from where his car was parked. Grief counselors will be available to help Woodson students as they return to school after news of the tragedy. As early as Tuesday morning, police had not indicated a cause of death.
