A Virginia dress shop is scheduled to give away bridal gowns to military brides in honor of Veteran’s Day.
The giveaway is a part of Brides Across America, which is a nationwide campaign that has supplied over 10,000 gowns.
According to Kiera Ogden, the general manager of Jeanette’s Bridal in Manassas, Virginia, the store plans to distribute 150 gowns to brides who are members of the military or whose fiance’s are enlisted. There is a $20 pre-registration fee for the event.
Jeanette’s Bridal has participated in the charity event for the past five years.
The event is first-come, first-serve for registered brides and begins 10 a.m. Monday.
